The McBerns Story

McBerns Pty Ltd commenced operations in 1991 with the launch of the McBerns AutoWellWasher™ and the Digital Timing System.

Over the past 20 years our company has grown and our product range has expanded. We are constantly listening to our clients’ problems with the view to solving them efficiently and economically. As a result we have developed and sourced new products to help us help you. Our longevity is proof that we are here for the long haul and are committed to providing quality products and service to all our clients.

The AutoWellWasher is now distributed throughout Australia, New Zealand and USA. It’s been around for 20 years and still going strong. We are proud to say it is now specified in pump station designs by many Municipal Councils and Consulting Engineers.

Odours are probably the most common and difficult problem for councils and industry to solve; it often has lots of money thrown at the problem with little success. We believe that it is important to give economy and efficiency; this is why we designed our Odour Filter Range. We started in 2003 with our range of small Vent Filters and now have filters that can handle almost any situation from 50mm opening right up to 375mm vent and ground mounted filters. In 2010 we launched the ZC300 Odour Filter Box which is used in larger situations with high flow rates and serious odour problems.

The McBerns Safety Lid was developed in 2004 because we recognised there could be major improvements to existing lid design & manufacture. Odour was always escaping, there was poor safety protection when lids were open; weight of lids were a problem and there were many trip hazards at sites particularly in public areas. So we took these problems and more, to develop our custom made McBerns Safety Lid, it is now setting the benchmark in lid manufacture.
