Sealing Tape where sealing is CRITICAL

One additional maintenance job when fitting any of the McBerns Odour filters to pump stations, manholes and air valve covers is to ensure that all other openings are well sealed to prevent the gases escaping from weak points such as pump station lids or manholes. The main aim is to have all the air and gas emissions passing through the Odour Filter, thus only releasing clean air into the atmosphere.

McBerns stock a self-adhesive EPDM rubber “D” shaped sealing tape which has low UV absorption qualities and is resistant to H2S & moisture. It holds its shape and has good rebound qualities, thus maintaining a good seal.

The sealing tape can be fitted if applied to clean, corrosion free surfaces.
