The McBerns Pump Boots are an innovative polyurethane seal designed to overcome problems facing maintenance staff when the pump bowl and pedestal faces on submersible pumps are worn and will not seal. They are quick, easy and safe to fit, so the pump station isn’t shut down for an extended time.
We also recommend fitting the McBerns Pump Boots to new pumps before installation to prevent wear before it occurs. This innovation saves time and money and can extend the useful life of worn pumps for many years. So instead of replacing the pump you are only replacing the pump boot.

McBerns ABS Pump Boots
ABS PumpBoots are made to suit 100mm and 150mm Discharge Pumps. PumpBoots are made of tough, durable polyurethane. They have a greater chamfer on the edges which makes them safer and easy to fit.
It gives new life to old worn pumps and extends the life of new pumps, preventing wear before it can effect the pump face.

McBerns PumpBoot for Forrers 4” Side Delivery Pumps
The Pump Boot is designed for Forrers 4” side delivery pumps and comes in a kit of 5 boot with thicknesses from 2mm to 10mm to compensate for varying wear factors. The Boot replaces the original “O” ring and creates a seal, even when the faces are badly worn.
Initial purchase of a complete kit* is recommended, so that you can have the seal size choices available while you have the pump station out of commission. (*Individual sizes can be purchased separately to replenish kit.)
This innovation saves time and money and can extend the useful life of these pumps for many years.
The Pump Boot comes individually or in a kit of 5 Boots to fit the Forrers 4” side delivery pumps. The seal thickness varies from 2mm through 10mm. The different sizes allow for variations in wear on the pump and pedestal faces.
